Daisy and Kylen dreamed of a day that felt like stepping into a curated museum exhibit, an experience filled with artistry, color, and storytelling. The Field Museum in Chicago, with its monumental architecture and topical exhibitions, became the perfect canvas for their vision.
The scene was set beneath the Field Museum’s soaring ceilings, where soft draping cascaded down to meet a mirrored floor that reflected the grandeur of the space. Wildflower-inspired blooms spilled across the room in a playfully stylish palette of mustard and lilac, reflecting the couple’s desire for a wedding that balanced whimsy with refinement. Like pieces of art carefully arranged within a gallery, every detail was chosen to feel personal. Guests were even surprised with an excavation-themed seating chart that played into the world of paleontology.
Set atop earthy, olive-toned serpentine tables in the heart of the Field Museum, Matte Black Coupe Dinner Plates rested, their striking silhouette grounding the colorful floral story with grace. Both minimal and bold, they set the perfect foundation for a prehistoric dinner experience.
For seating, the couple selected ghost-style chairs that mirrored the clean, modern aesthetic, much like our own Smoke Mirage Ghost Chairs. With their translucent profile, these chairs created an airy, elevated look that let the museum’s architecture and vibrant floral palette shine.
The event captured the attention of Brides magazine, where Daisy and Kylen’s wedding was featured as an example of how thoughtful design can turn a historic institution like the iconic Field Museum into a modern-day love story. From the playful color palette to the inclusion of design-driven rentals, every piece worked together to create an enchanting atmosphere.
